"Communicative excellence understood in terms of business and professional communication ethics requires public clarity that permits internal and external constituents to understand the identity of a given setting and persons working to propel a given public character of that place" (185). Each business has its own goal and in order for them to reach that goal, they have to have good plans. However, sometimes, plans don't go accordingly and what is needed to fix that is by having a good communicative responsiveness because "without vision, the people perish" (185). Business field is a super competitive field as there are hundreds of thousands of new business ideas formed every day. In order for the business to be successful, they have to be able to communicate affectively.
We need to learn communicative responses especially because it's different from interpersonal communication. When I was interning as a operator in a company, I learned that we really have to know how to response correctly to customers. If they are upset about something, we should be able to give a response that could help the customer to solve the problems instead of being upset about how the customer treat us.
